AIR :: Planning your western adventure is easy! Winter Park, CO does not have a direct airport so you'll have to fly into Denver International Airportand then make your way into the mountains. Winter Park does offer convenient shuttles between the airport and the town whether you're coming in the summer or winter, and once you're in town, there is a resort shuttle to take you between activities!

AMTRAK :: If you're not traveling with pets, traveling by rail can be a fun experience! Many families love traveling by train because it's a value and savings on the wallet by almost 30%-50% from driving and yet it isn't as much work! The scenery coming into the mountains is fun, and when you're with kids can be more fun than the backseat of a car. Amtrak comes directly into Winter Parkand Granby if you're choosing to stay in the area.

BUS :: Travel by Greyhound Bus is also an option. While not the most popular choice, it is inexpensive and offers many options for foreign travelers visiting us!

No matter how you get here, Winter Park is an inspirational and motivational vacation choice and the perfect getaway for families. There's the obvious: sleigh rides with us of course! But while you're planning your adventure in winter wonderland, don't forget there's some of the best skiing in the world here, as well as snowboarding, skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and even dog sledding.

Don't forget, Winter Park is also THE summer activities hot spot! Biking, Camping, Fishing, Golf, Hiking, and best of all, horseback riding, is the best way to capture the Rockies and all of the beauty and wildlife this town has to offer.
