Saddle Up For A True Colorado Experience!

Venture back in time to the days of the Colorado cowboy! We specialize in family-friendly horseback trips that take full advantage of our splendid mountain scenery.

Stroll through pine forests, sagebrush flats and striking meadows with our wranglers as your guides. Rides are fun for all ages! We have horses suitable for everyone! Children must be at least 4 years old to ride their own horse, and Fossil Ridge Horses does NOT allow double riding. We also require that the rider be no more than 20% of the horse's weight.

1 Hour: $35
2 Hours: $50

HALF DAY RIDE
Half-Day: $95
Morning Ride: Arrive at the ranch at 8:30 am; Ride departs at 9:00 am
Afternoon ride: Arrive at the ranch at 12:30 pm; Ride departs at 1:00 pm

Wagon & Sleigh

Sleigh: Private Ride for Two :: $200

This ride is for just two people.  Cozy up and enjoy a private and secluded ride behind a team of horses as they pull you along the beautiful scenic trails! Make a special event for just the two of you. This is the perfect romantic treat!

Sleigh: Private Ride for 2 - 6 :: $50/person

Enjoy a private trail tour for your family, friends, and guests! Guests are taken on private trails, groomed especially for the sleigh, through forest and snow covered fields. The scenery and peace of the woods, animal life, and trails takes one back to nostalgic times.

•  Three to Six people per small sleigh
• Reservations are on a per-person basis
• This rate is for two or more people

Group Wagon/Sleigh Ride :: $25 ages 15 & up, $15 for ages 7-14, 6 & Under Free!

Bring out the family or invite all your friends to experience a delightful outing by horse-drawn wagon or sleigh.  In the summer and fall enjoy lively cowboy stories.  In the winter sing along to the jingle of sleigh bells.

• We can accommodate any size group! Why stop at 15?
